Welcome to our little piece of history! Frogwell dates back to the 1600's and is one of the original dwellings in the village of Strete.

Situated approximately 4 miles from the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth and within walking distance of the famous award winning 'Blackpool Sands' beach . We are ideally placed to explore many of the fabulous local attractions such as:

- Many historic and nostalgic attractions from the 2nd world war.
- Wet Feet Kayaks is the place to hire or buy a kayak in Dartmouth, Devon.
Walk the famous coastal footpath accessible a few strides away from our main gate or for those with a head for heights descend down a steep path to a local cove accessed only by those in the know, ensuring a secluded getaway from the crowds.
So you don't have to get the car out and only a few minutes up the road are the 'Laughing Monk' restaurant and the 'Kings Arms public house and restaurant'. However, if you don't mind a short drive to the next village why not try the 'Start Bay Inn'. Either way all serve excellent food. We have lived in this area for over 15 years and have lots of
experience of the best places to visit and to eat to suit all manner of
pockets.
